This Client is a major brand leader within the UK Retail and Hospitality sector. Alsbridge supported them with a number of outsourcing initiatives including IT service desk.
 
Objectives

To select and contract with outsourcing partner for provision of Outlet IT Service Desk services.
 
Activities
  • Alsbridge leveraged market experience to produce a robust shortlist of Suppliers for RFP issue.
  • Authored the RFPs, and managed all related interactions with the Suppliers involved.
  • Implemented our multiple ‘test’ supplier evaluation methodology
  • Guided the Client on site visits, client reference checks as well as RFP response analysis, in order to enable confident preferred supplier selection.
  • Took the lead on preparation of contract schedules
  • Assisted and advised the client through the contract negotiation process    
Results
 
The Client benefitted from our experience, methodology and best practice templates allowing them to conduct a rapid, robust, rational and auditable selection process. Our involvement allowed this client to move from initial Supplier shortlisting through to deal signing within a challenging timeframe of 5 months. The deal negotiated is recognised by both parties and mutually beneficial, with pragmatism, usability and sustainability at its heart. In addition a number of innovative metrics were included in the contract to ensure client business requirements from the IT Service desk were met.
