Summary

Our client is a global FMCG company. Following their implementation of captive shared services,  Alsbridge were engaged to support a global finance outsourcing initiative.

Objectives

The client planned to outsource its finance & accounting processes from its existing SSC located in Central Eastern Europe and the additional Worldwide functions still decentralized in Latin America, Asia, Europe and Africa

 
Activities    

Alsbridge assisted with the sourcing process, mainly performing the following activities:
    • Develop the sourcing options and help select the optimum solution
    • Identify and pre-qualify potential suppliers
    • Define the baseline scope and develop the RFP to be issued to the pre-qualified suppliers
    • Manage the bidding process and evaluation of bids including assessment of the respective business cases, implementation timelines and risk profiles of each bid
    • Manage the contracting process and assist with the contract negotiation, including drafting of detailed contract schedules
 
Results
A signed contract for a global F&A supplier including an agreed transition programme across all markets
