Outsourcing Supplier Selection - SAS Methodology

Organisations face unique internal and external obstacles during the sourcing process. To overcome such obstacles, Alsbridge developed an alternative approach we call Sourcing Alignment Sessions (SASTM) which deploys facilitated sessions at key stages in the sourcing process to address and overcome obstacles. It creates a collaborative environment that promotes an understanding and consensus among the executive teams as to the opportunities and risks involved.

Building Relationships
Outsourcing supplier selection is about choosing a partner with whom you will be effectively living with for five to 10 years. You need to know as much as possible about how they work, what they think and who they are. An arms-length procurement process cannot achieve this. SAS ensures that the client engages closely and constantly with the potential supplier(s), and builds a robust working relationship with the one(s) chosen.
