Public Sector Heads join to address cultural change in major transformation programmes at Alsbridge plc Roundtable Dinner

Alsbridge plc, the award winning advisors on outsourcing, shared services and offshoring recently hosted an exclusive Public Sector dinner on the topic of cultural change in major transformation projects. The dinner took place on the 31st of March 2009 at the Ivy Restaurant in central London.
Guests at the dinner, including chief executives from both central and local government organisations, heard a keynote address from Professor Maurice Biriotti - a specialist in the area of cultural change and former academic at the Universities of Cambridge, Zurich and Birmingham.
Delegates from a wide range of local and national government organisations found plenty to discuss in the light of Maurice's remarks, and the challenge of effective culture change is as relevant now as it has ever been. The agenda of collaboration in delivering public services will force many more organisations into potential clashes of culture; and yet the power of collaboration might be easily tapped if we can harness the human instinct to co-operation by overcoming issues of trust, respect and mutual confidence.
