Alsbridge was engaged to assess the existing IT outsourcing relationship/contract and assist Alyeska to developan ITO strategy. An extensive due diligence effort was undertaken – existing contract spend was well over US$40m annually – and numerous opportunities for cost savings and contract improvements were identified. The strategy development led to evaluating several major providers and ultimately selected a single provider foran increased scope of work while substantially reducing their cost.
Alsbridge developed the business case, oversaw project management, developed and issued RFPs, evaluated the provider responses, helped Alyeska select the provider and negotiated the new outsourcing contracts such as the Master Services Agreement (MSA), Statement of Work (SOW), Pricing and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
