The world's fifth-largest insurance group, and the biggest in the UK. Alsbridge were brought in to assist in the successful launch of their Learning Management System, which has been successfully rolled out across the UK to approx. 37,000 employees. Our involvement extended to change management, project management, and key stakeholder engagement. We took direct leadership and management of the Communication and Training workstream, defined and documented the Target Operating Model (TOM) and prepared and coordinated User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

One of the world’s largest private sector energy corporations, operating in more than 100 countries. Alsbridge presented a business case used to justify implementation and secure funding for later phases. Clear guidance enabled the client to perform an initial supplier downselect with confidence. Stakeholders were bought into the project gaining crucial support for later phases.

Alsbridge assisted the client with a programme for the implemention of finance, HR and payroll shared services over a three year period for the Central Department and seven agencies; supporting approximately 17,500 employees from a greenfield site in Swansea.

The cost of in-country support of their operations was rising, and the client had significant earning pressure to control cost and keep abreast of their competition. Alsbridge conducted an evaluation of global back office services with an emphasis on F&A and HR to determine the cost of the base environment and assess both outsourcing and captive shared services options.

Alsbridge provided broad ranging and specific consultancy advice to the Learning & Development (L&D) area of this leading provider of life and pension products in Europe. Alsbridge was engaged in facilitating the move away from generic overweight catalogues of training products and resources to a new slimmer system that was to be relevant and effective to the client's business needs.
International Construction Group
This client is a major international construction group with annual revenues of $3.6B and over 17,000 employees. Alsbridge assisted the client with a transformational outsourcing initiative covering HR, Finance, and associated applications. Our role included scope and service level definition, contract negotiation and quality assurance of transition plans.
Multi-national telecommunications Services Company
Our client wanted to source a global HRO supplier capable of developing and hosting a new fit for purpose HR-IT landscape as well as delivering HR services on a global basis. This included design and implementation of new lean global HR processes applicable to all countries, but also taking mandatory local requirements into account.
Alsbridge delivered robust potential supplier shortlisting and development of Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, including a new lean HR operating model, legal schedules and process requirements.
National Government
Following successful completion of a Strategic Business Case (SBC), Alsbridge was retained to implement a structured approach for the development and delivery of HR Functional Design and Outline Business Case documents setting out assessment of options and the recommended future operating model for a global HR operating model.
nPower
Alsbridge was brought in as an independent advisor to this UK subsidiary of a European energy group to engage with the outsource supplier of payroll and internal stakeholder groups. The contract was benchmarked against best practice, governance solutions were proposed and report produced with recommendations on next steps to put in place a workable contract for both sides.

Research Councils UK
Alsbridge provided development and full project leadership of future operating models for HR, including; the shared services model and responsibilities, retained organisation, job descriptions, grading structures, pay and reward structures, and performance management. We also developed and implemented all TUPE and redundancy activities, including; consultation process, job matching, redeployment and migration plans. Our involvement also extended to executive coaching and development and consultancy to the new SSC board members.

Westminster City Council
Westminster City Council provide a range of services to citizens of the city of Westminster including social services, libraries and schools. They employ approximately 5,000 staff. Alsbridge facilitated the successful conversion of all in-scope staff to new simplified terms and conditions and to a new clean pay based payroll. A new on-line performance management system was also launched on time and under budget.
