Contract Evaluation Tool (CET)

The CET assesses the commercial and contractual elements of a new or existing deal across 10 categories, and then benchmarks these against our best practice database.

With simple questions, the tool explores issues such as the suitability of commercials, the detail of governance provisions, and the balance of risk.

The end result is an assessment of wether the contract is client-favourable or supplier-favourable, either or which is likely to de-stabilise the deal. The final diagnosis identifies those areas requiring clarification or renegotiation, and provides guidance on realistic objectives for an updated contract.

Client Example
We assisted an energy client renegotiate half way through its 10 year, £30m
finance BPO deal. Working in collaboration with the supplier a new contract was
signed incorporating a new pricing mechanism to incentivise innovative service management, a 20% reduction in annual service charges and greater clarity
on key areas such as termination rights, liabilities and exit provisions.
